I wasn’t into this installment of the Sworn Saga. It felt directionless and meandering. On multiple occasions, I popped my head up and asked out loud, “But where is this going?”
I’d hoped we’d learn more about the girls she’d saved or she’d be reunited with her partner from book 4, but those people are just gone. I’d hoped we’d get something from the wife who’s part of the resistance—really anything.
I don’t know, I’m not feeling this series anymore, but I’m so mixed up from where the series started to where we are now, Imma come back for book 6.
The fairytale story elements are missing. And I miss a host of other discarded elements. It feels like they did not plan out the series and the author is picking up and discarding random elements.
