I usually love brother's best friend but while this started out great, it didn't work out for me in the end. Stella and Heath (more specifically Heath) hide their relationship when it starts and it hurts Stella so much and Heath just doesn't get it all. And Stella has this whole Quirky thing going on and constantly messes up sayings thing and it absolutely infuriated me. Still, I read this in a day, it's a quick read and has its fun moments and I'm still gonna pick up the last book.

This was so fun! This is the second book in this fun, fast paced, Christmas love series. After reading the first book, there were some ends that didn’t get tied up. Book two works on one of those loose ends with Stella and Heath, and the third book will share more insight on Eva and Tobias. I thought it was really interesting how this book takes place at the same time the first one does, almost like it could be one book. But I like that this is a mini series which gives each set of characters room to breathe. I just wish they were longer!! These books have been really fun and one made my heart heart a time to two. There are definitely cliches and some cringy moments, but this isn’t a book im taking too seriously, but I loved it! I definitely enjoyed the experience and loved these characters!

Cute, simple, to the point. Realistic conflict and anxieties. Good sex.

I did not find her remixing colloquialisms to be quirky or fun it was simply annoying.
Her brother didn’t grovel enough.
