⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️🌶️ This was a quick &easy read.

* I did like Hudson &Caroline’s relationship &banter. I didn’t care for the bubblegum nickname 😒. Hudson’s mouth is 🥵.

* I really liked Hudson &Wren’s storyline but it dropped off pretty quick &didn’t come back until the epilogue. I was honestly waiting around for more of that.

* I didn’t like the female narrator’s voice. It was painful to listen to &really ruined a bit of the story for me. It was stiff &dull. Alex Kydd’s narration was great though.

* I’m glad I finished the series but probably wouldn’t recommend it. At least not the audiobooks.

Themes:
* One night stand
* Hockey romance
* Coach’s daughter
* Age gap (13 years)

Finally an age gap where they actually acknowledge that she is in fact just a college girl and didn’t try to mature her up or infantilize her. They accepted her age and it still worked cuz they were consenting adults. And glad it didn’t end up as a surprise pregnancy like the rest of the series cuz she’s too young for that. Glad they let her just be

Taking away an entire star because "expresso" is not a thing. I think I disliked every single of these female protagonists. I don't know why I finished all of them, other than they were fast and I thought for a second there one of them might be good. I'll overlook editing errors sometimes if the writing's okay, but this one was probably the worst of the lot. At least this author knows the difference between effect and affect.
