This was really excellent and not at all what I was expecting. I've seen this cover a bunch and had an idea in my mind of what it was about; I'm so glad this was a pick for my book club because I wouldn't have ever read it otherwise. It's a little scary (full disclosure: I can't even watch Hocus Pocus so my fear tolerance is low), but it's so atmospheric and I was fully in it from start to finish. Even when I wasn't sure exactly what I was reading, I was along for the ride.

I also think it's the perfect length. Any longer and it would have dragged; but it's a nice slim novel and all the better for it.

It was one of the most magnificent and beautiful book I read this year. 
I think that the ending was incredible because you can imagine how you want what it meant ! Truly amazing

Wow wow wow wow wow. Insanely good book. Wanted to keep my 5 star rating coveted but i seriously think this book deserves it. 

Just a perfectly self contained story which never gets boring and is a joy to read. Such a recommendable book too because of how digestible it is. Love it!
