I read this book because of the show, but I found the book to be better (no surprise). The details and character development of Daphne and Simon were better in the book adaptation. I enjoyed the spicy scenes but also the emotional ones.

I watched the first season of this show; but I very rarely watched TV anymore so I decided I wanted to give these books a chance. I feel like the romance itself was cuter in the show; but I also just loved the actors. Overall I enjoyed the book and had quite a few laugh out loud moments because the banter was top notch. It was a very fast paced book. On to the next!
