Ophelia could stomp on me and I'd probably thank her.

The best thing about this Book—Ophelia gets put in her place and the laughs it brings to readers are awesome. Ophelia is sent to University of Kentucky. She expects to be with her bloodmate, Jamie. She is so wrong.
I thought it was difficult enough going back to school in my 30’s. I would have gone bonkers if I was over 400 years old. At first, Ophelia refuses to change. She is used to be to being in charge. She has never worried about what others think or having to please others. Until now.
She is forced to live in a dorm. She is forced to room with a childe vampire. She is forced to deal with all things college themed. Good bye Hello Kitty. Hello skinny jeans. And Ophelia has to do it all on a budget.
Thank you Molly Harper for giving me so many loud laughs. Thank you for giving me permission to laugh at the struggles of others. Your ability to make me, the reader, see humor in the everyday has made me a big fan since Jane Jamison Series. I can’t wait to laugh during the next book.

A cute little half-book. Loved seeing the new side to Ophelia. Can’t wait for the series to continue.

This was a fun little story. It's nice to see Ophelia and Jamie through their own eyes, Jane is (naturally) prejudiced against Ophelia and they've got quite an adversarial relationship so it's nice to see Ophelia attempting to be a 'nicer' person.

It's really funny and an easy read, the inside of Ophelia's head is a bizarre, disturbing and hilarious place. Watching her adjust to living with humans is just as funny as you think it will be.

I was a bit confused about where it fits into the timeline it's released before book five but set after book five- my brain can't cope with that! (On her website it's still saying release Fall 2016 so I wonder if the dates somehow got mixed up) I don't think there were any spoilers for [b:Where the Wild Things Bite|27274410|Where the Wild Things Bite (Half-Moon Hollow, #5)|Molly Harper|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1449595111s/27274410.jpg|47328239] and it's set outside Jane's timeline- Ophelia and Jamie are the only two characters we see in this book who we've seen a lot of before- so it doesn't really seem to matter that it was released first.

This one is for the fans. This is a short peak into the mind of a 400 year old vampire, Ophelia, who has been removed from her position of authority and is being forced to attend college with *gasp* humans. The only upside she can see is that she will be closer to her young beau, recently turned vampire Jamie. As with the rest of the books in this series there are plenty of laughs and yes an opossum. The supporting cast in this story is fun and I’d love to see more of them in the future.

Molly never disappoints! Snarky and fun, great novella addition to the Half Moon Hollow series. My only complaint... I want more!

Ophelia like you've never seen her before!!

I thought this book was going to be about Jamie, Jane's vampire childe, but instead it's about his girlfriend, the centuries old Ophelia Lambert. For various crimes, she is stripped of her job at the Council and sent off to college to live in a dorm, take classes with human and vampire students, and deal with a super messy, crazy, klepto roommate. There are many many hilarious moments! If you're a fan of the Jane Jameson series and the Half Moon Hollow series, you'll find this as funny as I did. If you haven't read up to at least Dating a Rebound Vampire, you may get a little lost on the back stories. Same for people new to the series, there is a lot of back story that is in all the previous books, and you jump in here, at book seven, you may be lost with little hints to this or that happening before. But highly recommended for fans of Half Moon Hollow!!

I loved this story and seeing how Ophelia grows over the course of the quick story. However I have some theories about some things that took place. Can't wait to read the next book to continue!!!!

Ophelia is one of my favorite characters, she is pretty old but she is young too I know that kind of contradicts itself. But she really hasn’t been able to be young, now she is getting the chance to do what people her again ( not actual age ) do.

She and her man are still going strong but she needs to find out who she is without him or her sister. She gets to find friends, and be a girl. It really is a great little side story.

Love Amanda’s narration!
