i’m still not sure i understand what happened but it was really cool. excited to read more of the series
This book is its own thing. I didn't know what to expect and so I just went with what it gave me. And what it gave me I dig a lot.
This novel is full of unique characters in odd scenarios. And yet, it works. I would have liked more time with some of the characters, such as Dragon, but I figure that's what sequels are for.

? i don’t know how to describe other than that this is a loving two stars. definitely candidate for a reread with extensive note taking
DNF @ 25% due to a combination of formatting issues in the ARC and not enjoying the narrative style (odd word choices, stream-of-consciousness, symbolic actions/conversations rather than realistic ones). Very well-written, just not my cuppa. Will not rate.
