Read this in one sitting by the pool. It was not what I expected. I think overall the story was really meaningful, but I also wish certain topics had been expanded on more.

this is maybe more like a four star, but i'm giving it three because i think i just wanted more from every angle of the story. but, the art was incredible and i loved the way it captured this one summer for this family. the subtilties of the family drama creeping in throughout the whole story, beginning as just a backdrop and then becoming more of a central plot was done so well! (less)
