This was my first book by this author but it won’t be my last. I truly enjoyed this book, I never found a dull moment or thinking it slow paced.
We meet Millie as she prepares to start collage, she moves into a house off campus with her brother and his two friends, all seniors. Millie’s bedroom connects by bathroom to Jude’s bathroom, the school resident player and her brothers best friend. Millie goes to Jude for dating practice and you can guess what happens from there.
I love Jude, while he’s fighting with his own past he can’t help how he feels towards Millie, and while trying to do the right thing he always does right by her, except maybe one roadblock.
I would definitely put Jude on my book bf list.
Loved this book.

And now I have to wait!

As I binged this series I knew I would get to this point, the point where I have to wait for book 6.  But I don’t regret binging these books.  Micalea has given us 5 couples, each with intricate and original storylines that are going to make you physically unable to put them down.

In this book we get Jude’s story, we get the answers to all the questions to why he just doesn’t feel good enough, we get to watch him grow and change and finally see what we see.  We get to see him fall for the forbidden and break that dreaded bro-code, but we also see him struggle with emotions that he’s never had before.

Read this book, you know I want you to read the whole series.  I’ve said it once and I will continue to shout it, “MICALEA WRITES AMAZING STORIES THAT EVERYONE SHOULD BE READING!!”  Once you start you are not going to be able stop reading her broken boys and the phenomenal girls who love them.

  1. Bad Boys Break Hearts
  2. Nice Guys Don’t Win
  3. Real Players Never Lose
  4. Good Guys Don’t Lie
  5. Broken Boys Can’t Love
  6. Rule Breakers Fall Hardest (June ‘24)

Just when you think you found your favorite couple you get your hands on yet another one of this authors book's in this series and bam you have a new one. This is Millie and Jude’s story and it is one of the best friends sister, friends to lovers , roommates, first time romance you will need. It is so good you will have a really hard time being able to set it down. Jude is the campus playboy, known only for hooking up and not calling the next day. He went through a bad breakup with his ex and his best friend, and became this person. He's someone Millie should stay far away from, but then they're roommates. Millicent "Millie" is Cree's little sister who has come to live with them at college. She's sweet, shy, and innocent. She likes a guy that's in her class and asks Jude if he'd show her how to not lose a guy. She soon realizes there's more to Jude than she realized, and feels a connection with him, but she's attracted to someone else isn't she? Youll just have to read it and find out how it all plays out.

millie moves into her brothers house at the start of her freshman year, where she has 2 other roommates besides her brother. jude is your typical college playboy and millie is a virgin. when she gets paired up with a boy for a school project, she starts crushing on him a bit and asks jude for help with boys since she's inexperienced. i love how they get close while he's helping her and they build a friendship before things go any farther. however jude doesn't think he's worth it and holds back a lot. i was a little sad about the lack of grovelling on jude's part but i did enjoy the growth of his character throughout. their relationship was sweet and i love the friendship they built before anything.
