this was too fluffy, maybe too fluffy for my taste. but it was still enjoyable and the color palette was so aesthetically pleasing and beautiful.

This is one of my favorite books. I could read it again and again! I absolutely recommend it to anyone!

3rd read, first as webtoon then I got the book.

A lovely story with beautiful illustrations and not too much text so it's a light read. Each character has a specific speech bubble colour which helps following who is talking.

My first girlfriend recommended it to me a couple years back and their dating and budding romance felt very relatable, especially the scary side of opening up to someone and sharing vulnerabilities.

Sapphic romance, side characters with they/them pronouns, Austen has two dads. People seem to be able to change their skin colour with mods but Sunati mentions she promised her mum she wouldn't do that.

Austen has a genetic condition which makes her unable to use mods like most people do, and it's a great parallel to a disability or chronic illness. A lot of the conversations they have, including when Sunati realises she's been a bit of an asshole, sound like conversations we have as disabled people (like someone calling us "brave" for just living our life with a condition we didn't choose to live with).
