What. The. Fuck. WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! Sarah J Maas is actually insane. I'm truly in awe of her talent and the way she can create worlds and characters like this...how does each book she releases only get more impressive!?

Crescent City is by far the most action packed fantasy book I've ever read. I felt like I was getting whiplash at multiple points, yet I mean that in the best way possible because plots and PLOT TWISTS came out of nowhere!!!! And the depth to them!? INSANE!!! How everything linked up!? WHAT!?!?!?! I was constantly kept on my toes, whilst falling more in love with the characters. The start can feel a bit intimidating, overwhelming and slower paced at points, but oh man, it's all worth it cause the last third of the book is pure fireworks!

Crescent City is the perfect mix of dark and light, of strength and vulnerability. There are some lines in this book that truly rocked me to my core. By page 772 I was trying desperately to keep reading and couldn't because my vision was blurry from all my tears. I felt every emotion while reading this book, I am so invested in these fully fleshed out, inspiring characters, and I cannot wait to see what's in store for me in the next book!!
