At first, when I started this book, I didn’t really know what to think of it. Brady felt really shallow, but I loved Katherine, so I gave the book more time and thought ‘this is going to be better, it has to be.’ And yes, it got better, SO MUCH better.
Halfway through I already went through all the emotions, from crying to laughing out loud –real hard, I went through them all and loved the book. I really don’t have much to say because it’s just such a great book, I loved the way Brady and Kat grew towards one another and then little Izzy, gosh I loved that baby girl and how Brady and Kat were with her. This book is a must read if you love romance and if you want the emotions to come. I loved it and will definitely read more of Lex Martin and this series are on my TBR soon list.
I definitely recommend it to Romance readers, it’s a book worth reading.

Shameless was my first book by Lex Martin and this book grabbed my heart and soul! I have owned the book, and several other's by this author this I learned of her last summer on facebook. As a blogger and editor, I don't always get the chance to read strickly for pleasure. I love getting to read for a job, but that doesn't always mean I get to read what I want anytime I want, you know? And when I do, I tend to read authors who I know I like already since there is always a little uncertainty when I work. That being said, Lex Martin has really really appealed to me for a while, and I finally got the chance to read this book, all I can say is WOW. This book was truly, truly PHENOMENAL!!!
The blurb tells you that Brady meets Katherine through less then ideal circumstances to put it mildly. The circumstances actually couldn't be worse. Brady is on the verge of losing more then just his little brother and his brother's family. Looking like every woman's version of the hot bad boy, Kat yells at him to get off her porch and not to wake the baby. Not the most promising of introductions but Brady quickly learns that without Kat to keep him sane and helps with his niece, things would be utterly hopeless and impossible! Extenuating circumstances shove the two together, yet the attraction that simmers unchecked between Brady and Kat is instant and undeniable. Lex Martin writes a superb story rife with sizzle and angst that will have you crying like a baby and possibly throwing your kindles at one point. I loved that we get duel prospective's from Shameless in addition to this captivating story. I myself definitely added a new favorite to my list of authors with Shameless and can not wait to read more by Lex Martin. In the meantime, you can not go wrong with Shameless and I can not stress enough how quickly you should jump on this book! I promise it will be your next five star read!!!

I honestly don’t remember downloading this book, I’m assuming it was on a stuff your kindle day but either way I finally got around to reading it!
It’s definitely more spice heavy and lacking in the plot department but I thought it was still well done.
I didn’t really like the insta love vibes and the hints at some miscommunication, just not my favourite.
But overall I am a huge small town romance fan and Kat and Brady were so cute, especially when Izzy was around.

I like this book a lot. Easy read. The characters were likeable and the spice was pretty good. I wish their story was longer!

As a huge fan of Lex and her fantastic new adult [b:Dearest Series|29936242|Dearest Series Boxed Set|Lex Martin|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1460939209s/29936242.jpg|50324214] , the prospect of Shameless was an enticing one on two accounts. Firstly, the excitement of new novel and secondly, the knowledge that it would be a foray into adult contemporary.
As always, as well as an engaging plot, it’s her characters that always seem to elevate it from a good novel to a great one. Brady Shepherd is what tattoo having, motorbike-riding dreams are made of. Although a character initially introduced in [b:Finding Dandelion|20630331|Finding Dandelion (Dearest, #2)|Lex Martin|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1402550442s/20630331.jpg|39917778], it’s here in Shameless that he really comes into his own. As the sole guardian to niece, we journey with him as he navigates the huge responsibility thrust upon him. I have to say I was ill prepared for the genuine admiration, affection (and lust) I would harbour for him.
On one hand, Brady is gruff and rough around the edges, and on the other, there’s a tenderness about him that screams husband material.
His aide and support comes in the form of the wonderfully charming, Katherine. As the only link to what he has lost, she becomes more than a confidant and their easy friendship develops into finding solace by other means. Shameless features some of the sexiest scenes I’ve ever reads from Mrs Martin and I can’t help but send a virtual *ass smack* in gratitude. Pardon the pun but I'm shameless in my adoration for this book. Lex Martin delivers a romance with great heart, soul and steam, it was truly my delight to read.

Lex Martin can always get me out of my reading slump. I would have to say this is my second favorite from all of her books. I feel like Shameless is a lot more steamy than Martin's other books, no complaints here though. I gave it 4 stars only because it was a bit predictable and dramatic but I loved Brady and Kathrines relationship, and the atmosphere of the farm, and family aspect, that I couldn't put it down. I hope to see more characters in this world in future books because I really enjoyed reading the interactions that Katherine had with the girls from the diner and all the friendly people in the community. I also loved Kathrine's sister, I wished I could have seen her more in the book.
I’m just glad the characters are mature. Too much angst can be exhausting.
