Interesting start, love the character design. Sarah is cute, nothing more to say on her for now. I feel for Aiden and his mother, like seriously, his "grandfather" needs to take a chill pill or go into therapy. Ash's introduction was nice, a fair-fairy-like-knight. I thought I get to learn more about what exactly a Sidhe is, but maybe we'll get more information later on.

What a tease!

So far this was a great opening and I cannot wait to continue the series! I may just have to order the actual book.

This review is for the print version of this book. I really enjoyed it. The only complaints I have are nitpicky (such as the little sister never wearing a seat belt and some repetitions in the art, one print error where it appears the speech was resized, leaving it strangely doubled) and don't actually detract from the book or story itself. I find myself definitely wanting to read more. It's a good start. I do have some concern that Grandfather might be a one-dimensional villain just from what I've read so far, but he hasn't had enough page time to really get a chance to show any sort of real characterization.

The art is beautiful (if needing a bit more changes in perspective). I read it cover to cover and was left wanting more.
