bullying and sexual harrassment is not cute or romantic

TLDR: It is a rough volume. You're not going to read it and love it. There is some scenes where it is pretty much straight up bullying. There is some pretty blatant fan service and it seems a bit much. However, if you read the first 2 volumes, you may end up liking it.

Longer Review: This is a tough review. I would like to preface it with a few things. First, I was definitely the type to try the "be mean to the person you like" when I was young so I can understand a bit of what the characters are doing, but sometimes it is a bit much. Particularly in the first few chapters. It is a really rough start that makes you want to just drop the manga as a whole. However, the last few chapters of the novel are a bit more redeemable. It is not quite enough to save the volume, and it was not really enough for me to say I like it, but it is something to hint at the possibility that the series may find its footing soon. There is also a bit of fan service that just bothers me. The story feels a bit forced during this point.
It honestly feels like a guilty pleasure manga as you read it. The type of thing that if your friend brought it up you might talk about, but you wouldn't openly advertise or advocate. Some of the more comedic parts also feel a bit cliche which lessons their effect. This is just my personal opinion. I would give it a 2.5 probably, but I round up so I gave it a 3. I enjoy the volume more after reading more of the series, but on an initial read it is really tough to enjoy or get into.

Side Note: The first volume is by far the worst. I have a rule with manga that I try to read the first 2 or 3 volumes before deciding whether or not to drop it. If not for that, I probably would have dropped it after volume 1. However, by volume 3 I actually started to enjoy it a bit. The series becomes very enjoyable. I would say at least read until volume 2 and if you still do not like it you can drop it. Just my personal recommendation for this series.

I knew this was goofy, but I had no idea how goofy. I love it. I also understand Nagatoro a little bit, I mean who doesnt like a tease?

Very sexual harassment vibes
A silly look at what many women go thru

So basically I began reading this manga because I heard it from anitubers (The Anime Man) talk about it and there's an anime adaption in the works. I read the 63 chapters (not gonna lie, it is an addictive read) and honestly I think reading 63 chapters were enough for me to say, this ain't for me chief....

All you're getting is a teen girl who constantly downgrades, mocks and pretty much harrasses a guy older than her just because he doesn't stand up for himself. You don't realise how many times I've tried to drop this manga altogether but yeah I just feel it's just so controlling and very aggressive. That's not a good thing to start a relationship full stop....

The only good thing about this manga is that it's art is pretty nice but the rest, I might as well want to forget about it.....

Surprisingly fun!

There's little panels at the end of chaopters from her POV. If you're finicky about this book, you don't need to worry. It's a light, jovial read with ecchi parts to it.

Im just not down with the excessive bullying, It makes the basis of the relationship very toxic and I just can't gel with it at all.

From what I've seen the dynamic does not change much other than Senpai starts to stand up for himself.
