This was a fun read that suited my summer holiday mood perfectly. I’m not sure if my experience of the book had been different had I not seen the movie adaption several years ago; the movie gives away almost all cliffhangers and mysteries.
Fun fact: I most definitely have read this book before. For some time now I’ve been recalling how I read a book once that introduced me to the golden standard - a concept I was absolutely fascinated by at the time. I recognised the section about the golden standard immediately now when I read it (again).
