Spectacular Art
Review of the original Chromium cover edition (2019) [there are several later variant cover editions]

The spectacular line art and coloring are the overwhelming features here and pretty much offset the somewhat downhearted feeling given by a cliff-hanger ending. The abruptness of the Part 3 conclusion is also exaggerated by the bonus portfolio section of sketch art and alternate cover variants. These are great to have when they feel like an actual bonus but when the story feels cut short at their expense then it feels like padding. Still, the quality of the overall production for an independent is very impressive and the chromium cover art (which can't be captured by the GR cover image) is really stunning.

I picked up Cyberfrog Bloodhoney as I have been interested in the recent increased activity of independent crowd-funding of self-published comic books, graphic novels, novels and novel translations via the Kickstarter, Indiegogo and Hooandja platforms.
