I didn't guess who did it, but the clues were there. I love that we are getting more witchy and vampire action. I know these books are supposed to be no romance but if you do that I feel there needs to be no love interest then. We are talking marriage and the reader barely sees them as a dating couple.

I'd be the queen's lady of the chamber pot for a year if I could see a tv show made after this book series.
This book is one of my favorites in the series as it focused a lot on the magic side of Lucy rather than the murder. When if comes to the genre, cozy-mystery, it was rather more cozy than mysterious. Still, this book left me with a lot of questions related to how the magic slithered its way into the narrative.
I highly recommend the audiobooks narrated by the lovely Sarah Zimmerman, her voice is so smooth and warm, she felt like a best friend that could never talk my ear off.
