Pros:

I really enjoyed the hex and seeing how it came together and was picked apart. It seemed like a good mix of belief systems and well researched.

Cons:

I am really enjoying the parts of the books where there are mysteries before the murder. I really feel like digging into the dark magic coming and the hex would have been plenty for this book and Lucy being on the sidelines of another murder avoided. Sadly, it seems the author is hellbent to get Lucy to a body count similar to the vampires.

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!! Finally she said yes to Raffe. This was a great book, the mystery was solid. I love the budding romance of Violet and William. Olivia is a great addition to the crew. I’m happy Sylvan is groveling to Lucy cause she messed up big last book. Poor violet and the hex. I devoured this book so quickly that I’m not even sure that I know the official root of her hex. I’m like 95% sure that it was felicity. I never thought that the competition for William would be so fierce that he was worth killing over. Another great installment in this series. I just wish we could see a book about Lucy and Raffe in New Zealand. Maybe there’s a novella that I missed.
