The last chapter is really the best part of the book, and it clears up the seemingly somewhat random plot line of a random earthquake kid which bothered me throughout the story (i.e. how does this relate back to Teagan besides there being another "super" in the world?). The over-arching plot between the books (normally addressed in the last chapter) is definitely the best part to me and keeps me wanting to come back for more. The story seemed to drag on in places, but overall it was entertaining and kept me interested. The villain felt flat; he was evil just because he could be. In my opinion, that doesn't make for a great "bad guy". I prefer villains with more of a backstory/reasoning why they are what they are. The was also not a whole lot of character development for any of the characters. You would think that after all they've been through they would grow... I also noticed quite a few grammar and spelling mistakes, which didn't ruin the story for me, but it did annoy me.

Again, I freaking love this serie. I didn't give it 5 stars only because of Matthew and Teagan.
Matthew is a pain in the ass and Teagan... Girl, save the world and stop complaining.
Except this, it was incredible.
