" The sun is marrowless.
It offers a brittle brightness
but no desire.
Inside there is fire, and
outside, sky."

The only way I can really describe this collection is that it is elemental. It explores the seasons, the fields, the sun in the sky, the plants, and uses to explore the human heart and relationships with the self and nature.
