''To catch the real killer, she’ll have to seek help from the only one she can trust—the boy she was with during both murders''

Are we... sure ''trust'' and ''boy'' can be in the same sentence, my girly?

Fun, fun, fun! Make it a movie.

really solid thriller. much better than the ivies. some of the discoveries in the book were kind of icky icky though because why did one of the characters (middle age man) hook up with the MC's mom AND sister. i forget people have no shame. i like the big reveal at the end. made a lot of sense. the romance was likable as well.

It feels like so much happened but at the same time nothing at all happened. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it didn’t.

This was a decent read, but the characters weren’t very likable. Maybe it’s because I’m in my late thirties, but I was internally screaming at how stupid the MC was at times. She frustrated me to no end. Making dumb mistakes and being reckless, so basically a teenager.

I didn’t guess who the murderer was, though I figured out other parts of the mystery by about 60% of the way through the book.

Overall, an acceptable read, but too much focus on the romance and the MC's confused feelings and not enough on her sister, who I would have liked to learn more about.

Narrator Rating: 3.5 stars
The narrator's voice had a whiny quality, making the MC more unlikable to me. She did a decent job with the voices, just that whiny tone to their voice.
