The conclusion to the thought provoking conclusion. I like a lot of the story, but are a few parts that I didn't like, hence the 3 stars and not 4. First the almost 5% of the book breaking the MC. I know two pages wouldn't have been enough, but it was simply too hard to read for that long. And especially the final part trying to explan the bad guy's motivation. That wasn't needed. In fact the entire last part was unnecessary.
Otherwise we get a great conclusion.

I quite enjoyed this final book, and the series as a whole. About four years have passed during this trilogy, and Tom is now 18 ... I feel much more comfortable with the romance (and constant "boobs" thoughts) than we he was 14.

Still listening to the audio edition ... love Vic and Yuri still! Didn't love Vangeroff ... but we're not supposed to like him so I guess that's okay. So many of the unique names/places/things in this series now seem second nature to me (The Pentagonal Spire, Exo-Suits, Net-Send, etc.)

There were parts of the story here I didn't love, but overall I thought this was a very solid book three and conclusion to the series.

Personaje favorito: Vik

Uff. This book always hurts, it always feels like leaving a friend behind and I don’t ever know how to make the feeling recede. I guess for me it’s always represented the past, I get too nostalgic about it and returning to it brings me back this sense of giddiness and innocence and when I finish it, although it is always with a feeling of hope and a smile on my face, it hurts.
It’s this clear and aching reminder that life goes on, the carrusel never stops turning, time cannot be stoped in whatever moment we choose, I cannot go back to all those days I read this book and laugh filled me and i cannot go back to the sense of reading these books for the first time or even more importantly, rereading parts of them with a lot of time ahead of me, problems and questions and happiness and anger and all sort of feelings awaiting me on days to come. I cannot make time freeze, no matter how many times I wished it did. I must keep on living.
I think every time I finish this book a get this sense of loss, I don’t know why, but it hurts even when I adore the ending and the whole story. It always hurts to leave them behind, frozen in time.
I don’t know, I truly don’t but I guess I always miss these characters and these feelings, I can’t help it.

I’m happy but I am also really sad that this is the ending.

This wasn't a bad read but I really just lost interest by the time I finished this series, unfortunately. These books felt just a bit long for all the plot that they contained and I could have used some of these things sped up in some ways. Then other things, like huge catastrophic ones, just didn't seem to last long enough. I did enjoy the series but I also got a little bored. Like I said with VORTEX, I think I just would have appreciated it a lot more if I finished the series years ago when it came out instead of reading it now, but I am happy that I finished it! It was still worth it for me even if I really didn't have a ton of interest for it in the end.
