This is the most toxic relationship I have ever read about. The writing was really bad (and I’m not someone who tends to be critical of that). All of the non-smut scenes and internal dialogue sounded like they were written by a 15 year old in their diary.

There were so many problematic moments... and this book is definitely written in a way that objectifies women based on the male gaze. I’m really surprised that the author is a woman. The plot was weak, it was way too long, the characters were awful at communicating, and they were both sooo whiny. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Love a good billionaire romance and this story was easy to imagine and conjure up scenes as I was reading. I was hooked from the beginning and sped through this quite quickly. I did want more from the ending though.

At different times during this book I considered giving it 3 stars

4 star reasons:
-The asshole billionaire actually does asshole stuff- so many times in this trope we get to know the asshole and he’s actually just this totally misunderstood cinnamon roll and is never mean again for the remainder of the book
- The friend characters were awesome!

NOPE. I loved the start of the book and listened to it on audiobook. Started off so strong then grew to HATE Em and Jameson. Mainly Em and I’m not sure if the woman voice of the audiobook made it worse but her whining and trying to get him away from the ‘pressure’… he’s a fckin CEO of course he has pressure just stop. And him keeping on calling her a fuck bunny was just yuck, get over the joke now thank you.

The parts with her workmates Aaron and Molly saved it with their jokes and reactions - they made me laugh and get all ‘ooo’ because I clearly love a gossip

Innocuous romp. The twists and turns were a little meandering but overall, solid story. Inoffensive.
