Jameson is incredibly annoying. Double standards when it came to her even dancing with a guy at a nighclub but she asks him to not sleep with his masseuse and HE ROLLS HIS EYES AND TELLS HER TO NOT ACT LIKE A BITCH?
Even Emily, know your self worth girl.
During thethird act breakup/ makeup he was insufferable and you still took him back? Calling her snarky when she tries to establish some boundaries or "we have a wedding to plan. He's given me 3 months, there's so much to do" ok? So why are you marrying him if he won't help plan YOUR marriage and is giving you a random deadline? The marriage proposal was also awful, not cheesy good like it was intended
Even Emily, know your self worth girl.

yeah…. it’s a hard no for me. characters are immature, she’s so all over the place I don’t know who her character really is. he’s an arrogant snappy asshole with no redeemable qualities sooo I wouldn’t recommend

—my review:
overall: ⭐ 1.5/5
plot: ★☆☆☆☆
female lead: ★☆☆☆☆
male lead: ☆☆☆☆☆ ½
side characters: ★★★☆☆
If I had to sum this book up in one sentence: Don’t bother if you’re hoping for a green-flag love interest.
This whole story is basically about Emily and Jameson being horny, with some random business stuff thrown in. Emily is supposed to be smart, but the second she’s with Jameson, her brain just… disappears. He hurts her, treats her badly more times than I can count, and she still runs back to him just because they’ve got some physical chemistry. Where’s that “intelligence” the author keeps hinting at? I’m not seeing it.
Jameson? Easily one of the worst male leads I’ve read. He’s got anger issues, control issues, and he pushes and pulls Emily around whenever he feels like it. And, of course, she just forgives him like nothing happened. Honestly, they’re both a mess, so maybe they deserve each other.
I wanted to DNF this book so many times, but I forced myself to finish it because I thought maybe it would redeem itself. Spoiler: it didn’t, though I’ll admit the ending was okay, still It was still a waste of time. And there were so many weird gaps in the story like how Emily’s relationship with her parents is basically ignored. Even when she goes back to her hometown, the author just skips over it completely.
The only things I actually liked were Emily’s friendship with Aaron and Molly, and how sweet Allan, Tristan, and Jameson’s parents were to her. I especially liked how Jameson’s wealthy parents welcomed Emily despite her humble background. But… that’s literally it.
Overall? Super annoying story. If you want intelligent characters or a gentlemanly male lead, this is not the book for you. Reading it felt like a chore, and finishing it felt less like satisfaction and more like finally being free from Emily and Jameson’s ridiculous drama.

[DID NOT FINISH]
Honestly, just not for me.
Honestly, just not for me.
3.5⭐️I have very mixed opinions on this book. Why I did find myself not wanting to put it down, there was a lot of excess drama and arguing between the couple. I really liked the male MC; I found him alluring, sexy, and he grew so much throughout the book. I was a little annoyed with the female MC on the other hand. Even with all the drama in the plot, I loved the age gap, and billionaire tropes. This book was also 3/5 spice!
