I loved the self love and growth. And women supporting women, but I struggled to engage with the characters and what was going on.

Overall a fun read... however Savvy had her moments, although understandable, was so damn annoying. And the fact that her loser ex kept popping up was kinda unrealistic
I wish Savvy talked about herself a lot differently. It was hard for me to look past that sadly. But the moments where she was feeling confident and moments of the girl group were great!

Eh it was ok. I think after the initial breakup I would’ve liked to see Savvy be single and rediscover herself more instead of jumping into something new. Also waaayyy too much tennis. I liked that she had a fitness routine but it didn’t have to take up whole chapters. The best parts were when she was cooking and you saw where here passion was. We saw more of it towards the end but by then I was pushing through to finish.

This story was a true representation of what happens when you need to put pieces of yourself back together. It can be messy and imperfect, but it's so worth it. The journey to finding herself was the best. Her two best friends were there for her every step of the way. Encouraging her throughout the entire process and even taking moments to improve things within themselves. I even think this is a great story for the found family trope.
I love a good sports romance. If you like tennis, you'll love how they all came together for a common goal.
