I really like the narrator for this audiobook! She gives each character a distinct voice. This book is great but is more of a set up for the finale of the trilogy. I did love the new tributes that are introduced.

wow, what a sequel. 👏🏾

i have seen the first half of the movie and really only remembered bits and pieces of the second half. reading the book made everything make SO much more sense. i obviously knew Katniss & Peeta had to go back into the Games but i never understood why until now.

the last 4 chapters……. everything really came together!!!!!! they was tryna blow that bitch up and pull up on the capitol the WHOLE TIME. 🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾 the rebellion was ready to commence bitches. “i’m going to be the Mockingjay”.

i was so pissed off they didn’t tell katniss the plan but it honestly made sense why they kept her in the dark. i just hate it hurt her so bad 😭😭

and omg wait i have to mention that cabin in the woods where Katniss sees the two women who escaped district 8!!!! that same cabin from BOSAS 👀 which ive not read yet but have seen the film LOL. i was like wowwwww that’s crazy. ok cameo
