It was fun quick read. I enjoyed the meta moments and all the crossover characters. The adventure/plot was enteratining.

The artwork unfortunately lets this volume down quite a bit, which is a shame because the cover art looks great. It's a clever story, although hugely inspired by Jasper Fforde (in fact the ship is named after him so he is credited!), who I think handles the literary-world merging a bit better than Cornell does. As always these types of stories are fairly dependant on your familiarity with the stories they reference - I've read Sense and Sensibility, but never Ivanhoe or Nightmare, which I think affected my enjoyment of this volume. OK but I'm in the market for better FF stories.
