I don’t think this pulls off whatever it is it’s trying to pull off

It was an enjoyable read; I felt like it had potential to be a four or five star read, but it was too short and the ending felt rushed. It could have been a much longer book and I wish it would have been for the sake of character arcs and development. Overall, good reading experience!

I really loved this look into violence against women. Even if it was a degree removed from the actual death, the art pieces depicting women who met violent ends is so striking, this was a very stand-out tale to me in the beginning. It did fall off a bit toward the end but wow

This is about a famous painter going missing the night of her gallery opening where she created paintings showcasing herself as famous murdered women. There is some really interesting commentary and an okay mystery. I was way more invested in it then I thought that I would be, BUT I also didn't love the way it ended. Low four stars for me in the end.
