Loved this beautiful novel in verse about a part of history we don’t often read/ learn about. Highly recommend with nonfiction layering texts; Salazar’s words truly sing.

Really enjoyed this one! I appreciate how the author centers Dolores Huerta because I only ever really heard about Cesar Chávez growing up.
