Harper Bliss is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. This book is excellent. Even though it is quite short, it never feels rushed, and the development of the relationship still feels very natural. The theme of representation is well-handled and emotionally affecting. Also, the audiobook narration by Abby Craden is perfect.

I absolutely loved this book. And Abby Craden did a great job. This reminded me of [b:And Playing the Role of Herself|619962|And Playing the Role of Herself|K.E. Lane|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1347399828l/619962._SY75_.jpg|606341] a lot but much better in some ways.

I loved the honest communication between the MCs, loved that it's clearly in the same universe as other books based on some of the references but it made absolutely no difference in my ability to focus on the story unfolding. I also loved both Ida and Faye - together and separately.

It's been a long time since I've read a book by Harper Bliss but she's going back into the rotation.

I've always wanted to love Harper Bliss's books, but they had all disappointed me, until now.

It's not great by any means, but it was easy to remember what it is like to be in Faye's shoes.; to not understand these feelings and deciding to go along for the ride anyway.

I really enjoyed this book & I felt so seen by Faye's character. Wish I would have read it before my first romance of my own.

I feel like this is such an important book. It's a experience of a sapphic (lesbian? I always forget if any of the pairing actually bi or pan) romance  I haven't read yet.

My only qualm is both Ida & Faye sound exactly the same so I kept having to try & remember whose POV I was reading from. At times I would read half a page having deduced I was reading from the opposite perspective I actually was before I realized I was wrong.

They're relationship was really cute. I'm a little sick of coming out stories as are many, but this one goes much much deeper than that & I think anyone who says they're done reading coming out stories should give this one a chance anyway. It's definitely a new perspective to the common story most probably haven't seen before.
