It's a very short short story. But, it did make me chuckle.

I like Terry Pratchett's humor and I like the City watch books that I've read so far. However this short story was just too short, and did not add much. It shouldn't even count as a book, it's that short.

A short story about a strange crime in Anhk-Morpork and a young Corporal Carrot setting out to solve it in his usual very direct manner.
This one is a bit rough around the edges and very short (read in about 10 minutes) but has all the characters we know and love in the Watch.

Theatre of Cruelty is a short story in the Discworld Series and comes between Guards! Guards! and Men at Arms in the Watch subseries.

There’s been a murder! A street entertainer has been found battered to death. Carrot Ironfoundersson is investigating the incident in his typical manner in order to discover the truth.

Only four pages long, but packs a humorous punch, especially if you are familiar with the Punch and Judy Show. Fred and Nobby discovered the body and are engaging in some sleuth work. Constable Carrot comes in to save the day and do some detective work. It’s great to see a bit more character development with Constable Carrot.

Though it is super short, it had me laughing. Highly enjoyable, it’s available online for free, so be sure to give it a read on your own Discworld Adventure.
