This is such a heartwarming book about chosen family. It’s a breath of fresh air to read queer stories with a happy ending, and even one that includes magical beings! There were so many golden quotes throughout, I’ll definitely hold this book near and dear for a long time.

O M G!
I love this. Especially loved the part where I got to put in this review that the cast of characters are diverse. Never thought I’d fall in love with a green blob and said character would make me cry and laugh, nor find the Antichrist charming. I listened to the english audio book and the voices are *chefs kiss*. Pretty sure that is one of the reasons why this is now on my favorite books list.

Read this if you love funny characters, love, magic and finding yourself. This is kind of the reverse buildungs-roman, an adult goes to an orphanage and grows up.
