Just an annoying main character and a pathetic excuse for a human being. she is not the badass woman I was promised, she begs for attention from a man who is self-absorbed and ignorant and while she doesn't want to hurt her family life she thinks that offering to help the dishes is enough to somehow piece her relationship back at home all the while neglecting her daughter. Not to mention she does some disgusting things in the book that just demeans the character even more for me. For those who enjoy realistic contemporary accounts, this could be for you but unfortunately, while i understand the struggle, I just couldn't relate to her choices in life as it was her choices that she made that affected her life.

This was good, I was hooked but I didn’t really enjoy it. I hated all the characters, I didn’t trust anyone, I needed to keep reading to find out what had happened but feel torn, can see why people love it and why people hate it.
