Quick and easy read and an unpredictable ending but some twists were predictable

I had to give up halfway on this book. Literally none of the characters are redeeming. You main character is a doormat. I was filled in on what happens with the lawsuit aspect and it did not surprise me whatsoever. The ‘twists’ were unsurprising when told to me because with how everything was going it’s like ‘of course this happened.’ Just no.

Finally a thriller that hit the spot for me! I went in blind and I had no idea what to expect but this book was a gripping page-turner. The characters are all so unlikeable. The lack of respect, empathy and human decency was unreal. The whole mood and setting of the book was so dark, toxic and disturbing be sure to check trigger warnings! The pacing was very well done in my opinion and even though I guessed a main twists it did not make the reading experience less enjoyable. I had this book sitting on my shelf for a very long time but I'm very happy I finally got around to reading it!
