I’m a lover not a fighter

There are a lot of nuggets here, like facing your battles, finding calmness in conflict, the importance of practice. I do feel unsatisfied though, it's like I read the brochure you get before you decide to join a class, because they don't want to give away the REAL secrets to a newbie. Didn't touch my soul, but gave me things I can reflect on.

Het is interessant om te zien hoe de inzichten uit de Japanse tijd zijn weergegeven. De schrijfwijze is wel saai, waardoor je je snel verveelt. Ik zou een samenvatting eerder op prijs stellen.

powerful ideas well presented.

will def be pulling this out if i ever have to throw down with someone - very interestingly written though. made me feel as though i had to truly focus and study this book to understand everything. solely because i should read this with more time some other day ill give this 3/5 stars

He is so sassy its crazy

A practical guide to swordfighting written in 1645 by the legendary Miyamoto Musashi. Musashi, the master duelist of his age, describes his personal techniques and expands upon them in order to apply them large scale warfare.

An interesting read.

Very interesting philosophy. Amazingly, most of his principles are still applicable today.
