The book would probably be so useful if I had an arch nemesis or something… like unless I’m going out to mess with people’s heads; this book just ain’t making the cut in an age of cellphones, bitches and Alize 😪. Alas it was still information that might really come in handy one day and I’m glad I got to read his interpretation of the elements and how he viewed the world he was forced to live in.
Fascinating for many reasons. The translation flows very nicely, which helps. I think it also is interesting that though the author was highly influenced by eastern philosophies and religions, but I see many elements of ancient philosophies of the Stoics too. A quick read, and nice for a different pace.
Boring, repetitive, and useless unless you're planning to be in physical combat sometime soon. If you're curious about how many different ways someone can say "If you want to win over your enemy, you have to be better than them," then this book is for you.
I’m assuming people who look at everyone as an enemy, will love this book. You should investigate this thoroughly.
قرأته لمقاصد استمتاعية ولم اكمله بعد ،بداية قراءتي له كان يخالجني شعور اني اقرا شي ليس له مردود علمي واني اقراه لغرض المتعة فقط وبدافع فضولي بتاريخ اليابان و عصر السينغوكو جيداي واعتقدت واني استطيع ان اقولب مادة الكتاب عديمة الفائدة واستفيد منها بشكل ما في بعض نواحي الحياة
والصدق ماستفدت شي اكثر من اني سرحت باحلامي وخيالي الكتاب تحس انه مكتوب لمحارب ومارح يفهمه الا محارب مسك السيف ويعرف تقنيات القتال ، ممكن الفايدة الوحيدة منه انه في بعض العبارات حلوة تنفع كالهام لكن العبارات ذي تلقاها بكثرة في المواقع وباليويتوب فمايحتاج تقرا الكتاب يكفي تتطلع على الاقتباسات حقته من قوقل
