Kind of interesting from a historical point of view. It was cool to read about Miyamoto Musashi’s lifestyle and a bit of the lifestyle of that time. My personal version of this book comes with a 128-page book and a deck of 52 cards that has quotes from Musashi and modern explanations at the back. Most of the content in the book is centered around the long sword, so it is not very intuitive for the reader. The cards are actually pretty nice as Musashi’s wisdom in the book is “confusing” because the lifestyles of that time differ so much from modern japanese lifestyles let alone western ones.
Overall, cool little book but would only recommend getting it if you get a cool display version like a leatherbound or like the version I have with the cards (which comes with a little foldable paper/plastic stand for them).

I was a bit let down by this book. Have read it two times now and for the amount of modern people who witter on about how it's message is still applicable today it does seem to show its age
