At first I found it to be a bog standard zombie book and thought that I'd read it all beforehand in the brilliant Zombie Apocalypse edited by Stephen Jones. However, once I was half way through I started to devour it, pun intended, at the speed a zombie munches a brain. A brilliant, cleverly thought, brilliantly pieced together story that really gave an all over view of how such an apocalypse would affect and be handled by different countries, people and even animals. Intelligent and unique, a must read.

This was the first audiobook I listened to that had a full cast instead of just one or two narrators and I loved what it added to the story!!
