Mi primer cuento/relato/historia de Edgar Allan Poe, debo decir que me gustó mucho. Tiene una forma de describir el ambiente muy específico que te lleva a sentir en carne propia el escenario en que está puesto nuestro narrador. En general me gustó la sensación de malestar leyendo la historia, sin embargo, como siempre, prefiero las historias mas largas que tienen mas contenido dentro de ellas, por esta razón es que le quito una estrella, pero fuera de eso, me pareció un relato excelente dentro de su género.

a very atmospheric read. poe writes beautifully! i have to read his completed collection sooner rather than later.
i liked the story - but as it was short i didn’t feel any greater connection to the characters. and i wouldn’t say it impacted me as a person (which would be needed for me to give the story a five stars).
