i think this is my favorite harper story. i'm still confused about one of the murders but i don't want to give anything away :)
Over all, this book is a quick read and I would suggest picking up the series from the library if you like mysteries. I wouldn't tell you to bump it up to the top of your list, though. I regret physically buying the first three, but I did only get them in paperback, so it isn't quite so bad. I would much rather read the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Those are books that I could read over and over again, where I don't think I will be revisiting Harper anytime soon.

I had completely forgotten who did it, so revisiting this series was was interesting indeed.
It seems like everything is wrapped up. Is this the last book of this series?
Satisfying ending to this series. At least it feels like an ending. I think much more focus is going into the Sookie stories. I like the characters in this book, but can say goodbye here.
This installment did not grab me a quickly as the first few books, but finishes strong.
There's something creepy and slightly disturbing about this book and it's not just Harper calling the guy she's sleeping with 'her brother'. But I'm sure I'd enjoy it more if she didn't.
