Ok confession time- this is the first Austen novel I’ve ever actually finished, among the many I’ve started and left unfinished. And, after getting past the introductory chapters and associating myself with the situation and characters I loved it! I really was impressed with Austen’s knowledge of human nature, how typical many of her characters are of many people of today in personality and types if struggles. Although it is a bit of a slower paced book I really ended up being held in great suspense toward the end and I’m thoroughly impressed! I loved it! Highly recommend.
