This was not agreeable.

Mostly the story though. No sense but some sensibility. It is just too distant and tedious. I can see the appeal of the language but it couldn’t rectify my ennui. P&P is better than this one.
I guess I am a modern book lover.
A speedy read/listen mad this more agreeable which was funny since the last book (the modern seven moons of Mali) on the other hand suffered from the consequences.

considering that this is one of Austen's first novel, the rushed and underdeveloped end of the novel makes sense, despite this- it's still great just cut short
