It was fine.

This gave me a real sweet tooth

This was super cute. The characters were adorable. The story was decent if not a little dramatic at times, but that's the point, I s'pose. I'd read more from this author. :)

A cute and fluffy Asian American retelling of Pride and Prejudice meets the Great British Bakeoff meets the Bachelorette. It was a light and fun read that I enjoyed. I liked all the Taiwanese cultural references, the Asian flavors baked into the competition and even touches of the microaggressions that we face on a daily basis, even from our friends. Some of it was a bit heavy handed (tea hangover, I'm looking at you) but it was still fun to read. The insta-love was also a bit much but it followed along P&P.
