Not too much action in this one but we get a better idea on why someone is the way she is. Good one. 4.5.

Well I found this very very amusing . No wait ! don't think that this made this a bad book , on contrary this was actually a very good book . What I found amusing was the fact that this book had very little dialogues , in fact there was one dialogue , comprised of few sentences , that kept being repeated for around 50 % of the comics . This in turn allowed the art work of Janin and Chung become the main focus of the issue . The Whole story progresses on the base of the Sketches , Inks and colours of Janin and Chung and It definitely works well.

It's almost as if DC accepts that Tom King's story aren't the forte for Batman titles anymore , infact for most times that's been it's weakness , but the new Art from Janin and Chung has really been the most impressive feature of this book .

That said there is still a story being told and it is still looking very strong , coming into the 2nd part of the I am Suicide storyl arc . The Story has had a lot of action so far and a very fascinating story progression based on what i truly believe is a weak and unimaginative main plot . Frankly I'm starting to get my hopes up , here's hoping King finally redeems himself and stops messing with Batman

Batman confronts Bane(introduced/shown in issue#9) and is thrown into a cell. Catwoman reminisces about her abandoned childhood, compares herself to Batman, and tries to explain how they turned out so different even though she views them as being similar.

Carson and dialogue was good, it took me a minute to realize it wasn't Bane talking. Batman dialogue sucked, but I think that was so it wouldn't distract from Selina talking and to remind the readers of why he was were he was while she talked about them and the past.

Love the lyricism of Tom King's works, but perpetually in a state of confusion in DC.

Batman is my favorite superhero of all time and I'm trying to devour as many issues as possible :)

Feels like a bit of a cheat in the same way as the first, except somehow Catwoman is talking the whole time. I thought there was surely some trick to how Bruce was surviving all that mayhem, like this was a red herring, robot Batman. I suppose King is trying to make some point about the character's determination, but this felt like a really cheesy, unrealistic way of getting us to that point.
