I almost gave up on this book! The setting or background is one that I’m not familiar with- not because it’s in Australia but as in I’m not a shopper lol. But the ladies in this novel, I definitely can relate to. There were parts that seemed trivial or petty and those are the times I almost gave it up. I’m so so glad I did not!
I think I like this one *almost* as much as The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim.
