Some of these I loved, some got repetitive, some read more like stream of consciousness or essay excerpts in the middle of a poem. Almost all had at least one line or portion that was really great and the angry feminist and self-love vibes were generally fun (though they leaned a lot into isolation and independence instead of healthy relationship alternatives, which made me weary after awhile).

I adore the contrast between the short stories and poetries! It was actually amazing because the references were obvious, but at the same time, they were also unique. I love the (misunderstood) women's retellings and the fact that they weren't executed in a way that changes their character. And instead of blaming them for being what they are, the author walked us through their journey as they fight the battle called life.

I have a hard time finding poetry I really like, but this was a nice read most of the time. :)

I just couldn't get into it. I bought the physical book, though, so maybe I'll try again someday.
