I was looking for a historic/political account of the industrialization of agricultural and this felt much more opinion based.

This book was great, but I didn’t realize that it was so old. Though a lot of the ideas still apply…things have changed quite a lot in the past 20-30 years! I am definitely itching to garden now, and make my home a more productive place. I do believe that my idea of what “home” should be has fundamentally changed due to this read. I want to contribute with my land and home, rather than just consume.

The bursts of clarity and insight are worth the great effort it takes to reach them.
