As always Terri Blackstock does a great job of intertwining mystery, relationships, and the importance of keeping God at the forefront of our lives, so we aren't waiting til the hard times to ask Him to lead us.

I did not realise this was Christian fiction. I'm afraid I found the heavy emphasis on religion quite irritating. I finished the book but found the storyline unbelievable as a crime novel. Some of the health aspects were too silly to contemplate. Not a fan.

I enjoyed this book. A Christian book, easy to read, kept my attention, and was nice and clean. ;)

I enjoyed many things about this book. I thought the author did a great job of incorporating multiple main characters into the story. I enjoyed the mystery and the clues that were left to figure it out. I thought that the story was a little heavy handed with religion. I also listen to the audio version and did not care for the narrator. But overall it was a nice read.

Although it was fairly easy to figure out the 'who done it' early on, it was fast paced and easy to read. Lots of different elements being dealt with.

"We don't have any idea how much of a fight He's putting up."

My mom has been a huge Terri Blackstock fan for years. So, naturally, I spent most of my life thinking that I didn't want to read her books because they were "those books my mom reads." But I'm always looking for audiobooks to listen to when my head and eyes can't handle looking at pages, which is how I ended up reading the [b:If I Run|26263487|If I Run (If I Run, #1)|Terri Blackstock|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1446648546l/26263487._SY75_.jpg|45858663] trilogy earlier this year. I decided to give this trilogy a chance as well. I am coming to realize that my mom has incredible taste and I basically need to read every book she has ever mentioned.

I loved this book! It was a really strong start to the series. The plot was twisty and interesting and just bizarre enough. This is such a fast read because a) it's not that long and b) you literally can't put it down. I definitely recommend this one.

3.5 stars. I would have enjoyed it more if it were read by a different reader (I listened to it via Audible). Book 2 is read by a different person, so hopefully I enjoy it more!
