Some parts of this were really funny! Because it’s a novella, there isn’t a whole lot of detail, but what I liked is that the details that were there felt very unexpected. The way Ingalls describes certain very unimportant characters is really interesting, but at the same time I don’t really know what any of the main characters looked like. A weird little book. I read it in a day.

What a tiny strange book. I wish I would have read this sooner and I'm sure it would be fascinating to read again. What a wonderful book club pick this would be!
