Mostly written in the male love interest’s POV, who was so severely unlikable that it took me a year to come back to finish this book once and for all.

They served the arranged marriage trope with slow burn.

AUDIOBOOK/E-BOOK

An enemies to marriage office romance. This story is emotional, I was ugly crying about half-way through. Watching his transformation from mean and arrogant to kind and loving was incredible. Well written story that draws you in and you can’t put it down.

Since this was written in 2016 and I've only read it now, I'd say the writing style and storytelling was quite different from how I'm used to.

This was more emotional, but I loved it! I rarely read books now that force more sad emotions out of me, so this was somehow refreshing. Initially, I found Richard too impersonal because of how he interacted with Katy, but it was part of the story and it made a good reference for how much Richard has turned around.

I'm not sure if I'll continue with the other books in the series, simply because I'm no longer used to reading actual series. I've always preferred companion series. Also, I'd like to leave their story on a good note, especially if The Amendment will make me cry, I don't think I'm ready for that.

I read this late, the hype has probably gone down but I'm still happy I did. I come across this book when people do their recommendations for fake-dating/marriage of convenience tropes, and it did not disappoint!
